BlueParrott B450-XT Noise Canceling Mircophone Headset

This is by far the best noise cancelling headset that I have ever experienced. The noise cancelling circuitry is so good that people can never tell when I am driving or step out at a gas station next to a busy highway to refuel. Compared to every other Bluetooth device that I use, this one is by far the clearest. If I change from one of my other devices to the Blue Parrot during a cal I have had several people immediately comment on how clear my voice became with absolutely zero background noise. I have found that I can wear the headset for long periods of time without discomfort from the ear cushion. If I start feeling anything due to wearing sun glasses, I can flip the microphone around and change to the other ear and drive on without issues. However, I normally don’t have to do this unless I have been wearing it with certain sunglasses for over a couple of hours. With other glasses I don’t even notice it at all. Therefore, this is definitely a comfortable headset.With hands free laws going into effect across the country, a good Bluetooth that is clear and comfortable will become even more important. If you have people telling you that they can barely hear you on other devices due to background noise, get a Blue Parrot because it will make a tremendous difference.I like the feature where a female voice announces the name from your contact list that is calling. Then you can just say “answer” or “ignore” to answer the call or not. This headset also has a programmable button that you can program to do different things when you push it. You can program buttons to do different tasks depending on a short push or long push.I have had the device for a couple of months now and it has held up nicely due to great build quality. It still looks brand new and still works perfectly just like the day that I bought it. I use it all week long and only have to charge it once per week via USB. Truckers would have to charge more frequently, but I have found the charge to be amazing and the recharge times to be very quick. I tend to use mine an average of 3 hours per day and only charging it once per week I have never been low on power with it.This is not the headset to wear into a store or a restaurant or else someone might think that you work there. But it is great at what it does. I have tinted windows on my car so nobody even sees that I have a headset on. However, I wouldn’t be ashamed of wearing this even without tinted windows because most people now applaud folks for going handsfree for safety. I just take it off when I go into a business so I don’t look like SpaceBoy Zoom.UPDATE: Originally purchased in 2020, it is now January 2023 and this headset is still working perfectly just like the day I bought it. I have had zero issues with it and still love it. It still works and looks perfectly and I use it still about 2-3 hours per day. No parts or battery changes, still all original. So, the build quality seems to be an A+. Don’t abuse it and keep it out of direct sunlight for storage is all I have done. Anyway, I just wanted to give you all an update as to the durability over 2+ years!

I didn't think it was going to be worth it, but working from home, I really need something so I'm not on speakerphone or getting phone-ear all day. This was one of the few options that could deliver within a month. Thanks COVID.But now I'm hooked. It connects quickly and seamlessly, the sound is excellent, and the noise cancellation is genuinely impressive. It doesn't matter if I'm on a windy porch or sitting next to a 3D printer, nobody can hear the racket. I spent 7 hours on the phone today, straight. By the end, my ear kind of itched a little, which is a far sight better than any other headset I've had to deal with.So it may seem like a shiny penny, but I find it works shockingly well.

Looks a little dorky but I tired several head sets this is the best one by far!!!! Everyone says I am crystal clear. I love it!!! If you want a quality head set this is it!!!!It’s great for the road and the office and around house!Is comfortable and made solid!You want some for making. This is it!No more air pods falling out my ears and sounds way better than air pods on calls!Best purchase I have made in a long time!

Great sound, voice answering without using the buttons. Only drawback is that is very heavy and slides off my head when I lean forward.

Comfortable. I wear it most of the day.Sound quality is great. People I'm speaking to they say it's very clear.I can speak in my normal speaking voice without having to talk over car/street noise (I have a diesel-powered vehicle).Took me a little while to learn how to best use it in conjunction with my hands-free Bluetooth stereo. How best to answer the phone, how best to get it to pair with my phone exclusively and not the hands-free car stereo.Battery life is great. Range is good.

not comfortable to have it on your headhowever it has the most clarity in The Voice for mesomeone who spent a lot of time on the phone it is very important for the listener to hear my voice clearly this microphone is built as if you're speaking to a recording mic!I could be driving or have the fan on full blast but the receiver will not hear much difference in the sound qualityit is pretty big hats at on your head so if you do not like the tension on your head or if your ear gets hot you will not like it ... it does cover your entire earwhat I end up doing is to check it off in between my calls just so that I can let my ear breathehowever I am willing to suffer a little bit of comfort for the high quality in sound

The only problem this product is the USB plus is a little too fragile. Mine broke but other then the headset s fantastic. Just be careful plugging in to a USB cord.

I have a refurbished version, and I’m not pleased. Mainly because these were pricey, and I feel ripped off. I did multiple tests with friends and they were able to hear background noises, the only noise that didn’t come through was music. Kids voices, babies, video games, all things I needed to be silenced since I work from home- all came through. Don’t waste your money.
