I bought this universal remote because my original TV remote was damaged, and it really helped me out.Pros:• Wide compatibility: I tested it with an LG TV and also an older set-top box, and it worked without a hitch.• Quick setup: It comes with clear instructions and several programming methods.• Good response: The buttons are sensitive; you don't have to press hard.• Comfortable design: Lightweight, ergonomic, and the buttons are a good size.Cons:• No backlight: In dark rooms, it can be uncomfortable to see the keys.Keep the manual or code you use in case you need to reprogram it later.For the price, it's an excellent solution if your original remote stopped working. Easy to use, effective, and with good range.

For the price, its actually not bad. I bought like 4 of the lg clone type remotes with the roundish shape and scroll wheel. Usually cheap remotes the scroll wheel breaks, the voice doesnt work, pointer unstable and worst of all the clones will buffer say a volume up and sometimes it will max out the loudness and not come down until it buffers the minus button lol. Terrible. This remote has no special functions, no voice, no scroll wheel. It has buttons for equivalent functions . It has no instructions but if you bought a replacement remote before, you know that the ok button usually pairs it with the tv. I pressed it although i read this doesnt need that. I didnt see the usual pairing msg but it worked. I went to youtube and using arrow keys was able to see the channels and volume works perfect. It has netflix and prime buttons which work so totally no problems. Best thing is it was leas then 9 dollars. Will buy another as a back up just in case. Dont waste your money on all those fake lg clones. They never work but this cheap one does!

Great replacement. Functions just like the original. The remote automatically paired with my Samsung TV and all buttons worked as they should except the voice button. I manually paired the remote again with my TV by pressing the back and play/pause buttons. After manually pairing, the voice button worked along with the rest of the other buttons.

Worked perfectly right out of the box after inserting the two included alkaline batteries. Perfect solution for our broken remote. This controller is sturdy, responsive and every function is the same as the original that came with our tv.

Excellent. Perfect. My only complaint would be durability. I bought three of these for two reasons 1) they are excellent 2) my dogs ate the first two !! Would absolutely recommend 100% worth the money. Even with the durability stuff I'd give it a 4 1/2 !

It works just like it’s supposed to. No programming prior to use necessary and it even came with batteries. This was our second purchase. We were so pleased with first one that we bought another so we’d both have one.

Purchased this remote because on the original LG remote, the select button stopped working. We have had no issues with this remote and it looks almost identical to our last remote.

Good replacement for the price. However, we’ve had ours for a year and a half and it’s a bit slow to respond to buttons as well now. Yes, I changed batteries. No change. But for this price I can buy another. Just hate adding electronic stuff in landfill.
