Amba Pickled Mango Sauce 17 Oz. Pk Of 3.

We have a 14 guest room historic Inn, and my Chef Husband does a number of Israeli dishes, including Meurav Yerushalmi (Jerusalem Mixed Grill), and a Meurav Burger (shown in the photo) for our guests, and Amba Sauce, a spicy Indian-Jewish condiment made from mangoes, is necessary for both, and this is perfect! As we live in the rural mountains of southern West Virginia, where the nearest Walmart is an hour away, Amba Sauce isn't something that one can buy in our area, and so we order it online in multiple packs so we always have it on hand- it's a staple of our Inn's kitchen pantry!

If you know any better, you know it's not Amba! at least what I received said Amba but it's not! it's actually Hilba, a Yemenite sauce made out of ground fenugreek. If you read Hebrew, see pictures for proof! Very disappointed!!

We love Amba! it tastes good on falafel and also pretty much on everything! The only thing I did not like is that the ingredients say it had pickled mango (which I love in my amba!) but when we got the amba we realized it does not contain the mango pieces.

This was extremely spicy. Taste was very good.

I have been searching for Amba (this flavor deserves to be much better known!). It's delicious; could be added to myriad of savory dishes, but most and foremost - it turns the beloved Sabich (google it) into a sublime experience!

Thanks to Joyce pantry we can get this and other Israeli cuisine products, great service and very reasonable pricing. I look forward to ordering more products from Joyce Pantry.

Hi! The product arrived in bad conditions !The amba pickled came out of the bottle !
