Lifting Cushion Seat Assist Chair Seat Lift - Weight Limit 80-230lb (36-159kg)

This simple device lets my wife get out of a chair without help. She has had, in the past, to get someone to lift her out of her chair due to severe arthritis in her shoulders and knees. She has regained her independence and for a very reasonable cost.

This cushion seat works actually pretty well, although it would help if it went higher. It lifts my father in law to a certain extent, but it seems not enough.

The first time I tried to sit on this thing, it catapulted me off and down to the floor. I'm lucky I didn't break anything but I was sore in several spots for days. I weigh 127 pounds so that's not an issue.BE VERY, VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS THING!

Purchased this for my father but he didn't get to use it. I am keeping it for myself for when I injure my back. It makes it easy to get out of a chair when your back is not up to par.

Well it worked great until it broke after only 3 months.

I bought this seat for my Mom who had just come home from rehab with some difficulties getting into and out of chairs. She opened the box and set it up herself, then told me she didn't like it because it felt like it was ejecting her from the seat every time she stood up. When I next went to her house, I looked it over and saw that the "ejection seat" force could be adjusted by moving a metal rod through a series of metal notches. I tuned down the pressure by about 30 pounds, Mom tried it, and voila, she liked it.She originally planned to lug the seat around with her to church, doctors offices, etc., but it's pretty heavy for her. That's why I'm knocking off one star. Otherwise, a very good investment.

Never got to use this, the person was unable to stand shortly after this purchase. Looks like it would work well but I don't think sitting on it for very long would be very comfortable.

My mom is 95 years old. She was having trouble getting up from her chair. The Lift has helped.
