Compré esta sierra circular hace un par de semanas para hacer algunos proyectos de carpintería en casa, y me ha funcionado muy bien. Tiene buena potencia y corta madera sin dificultad. La hoja que trae es bastante afilada y el corte es limpio.El diseño es cómodo de usar, aunque pesa un poco si tienes que trabajar por mucho tiempo seguido. Me gustó que trae una guía láser que ayuda a mantener el corte recto. También tiene sistema de seguridad al encenderla, lo cual me da más confianza.

Great value power tool- a must have!
This Skilsaw isn't heavy to work with and is easy to use. I was able to make accurate cuts and stay on my line while cutting. It fits well in your hand and is comfortable to use. Safety guard in place and it is able to withstand the task. It is a power tool that runs on electricity or through a generator. Great price and great shipping in its original packaging.

SKIL SAW-SHED DOORS
i couldn't find my DEWALT circular saw in my "TOTAL MESS" garage!!!! i tried repairing a 10 year old BLACK & DECKER. DIDN'T WORK!!!!AT LEAST....i NOW have a circular saw that will help me repair the ''BAD" shed doors out back....of my house!!!!

Good budget saw
Has some oomph to it, but not a whole lot. Works great as a budget saw if you need one. Heads up, it comes with an 18 tooth blade so if you need something a little finer, grab one of those too.

Corded verses battery operated
I ordered with a battery, charger, blade and saw but got a corded saw with blade. Disappointed in that since the cord makes me nervous (I am a lady) the other would have been safer and easier for me. However it is very nice. Just easier to keep. It is good quality.

Great Value for Light to Medium Projects
I picked up the Skil 5080-01 for some home improvement projects, and it’s done the job really well. It’s lightweight but still feels sturdy in your hands, and the 13-amp motor has plenty of power for basic woodcutting and DIY work. The saw starts up smoothly and the adjustments for depth and bevel are pretty intuitive. I wouldn’t use it for heavy-duty contractor jobs, but for cutting plywood, 2x4s, and trim around the house, it’s perfect. The included blade is decent, but I swapped it out for a finer one for cleaner cuts. All in all, a solid choice if you want something affordable and dependable for home use.
