Great Comfort at a Great Price! - new follow-up 09-23-17
When I received it today, I immediately attached it to my powered wheelchair. I have a 20" wide seat and this fit well though it is designed for a smaller seat. The way the sides and arms are designed gives it ample room to spread out. I've been sitting in it for a while and it is very comfortable. The MDI comfort cushion gives me great back support and cushions my tailbone. I'm really liking this product.*** Follow-up - I've been using this for a while now, both in my wheelchair and my recliner. I still love it! I'm a big guy who puts a lot of stress on these kind of products and it's holding up very well and is still quite comfortable. The only negative I've found is that it can get very warm if I use it outside when it is hot. But, that doesn't surprise me because of the way it is designed. I can't wait to use it this later this fall when the temperatures drop and I'm sitting in the cold at the football and soccer games! The way it snuggles around me, I'll be the warmest one there.

Comfy after adjustments
This cushion is one-size-fits-all, but it is patterned for a wheelchair with a tall back and relatively high arm rests. It didn't fit my mom's chair as well as I had hoped, but she says it is very comfortable. She likes it, so we're keeping it. She has painful osteoporosis in her spine, and this cushion seems to help a lot. For that, it's well worth the price. However, here were the issues I noticed when fitting the cushion into her chair:1. The padding/stuffing in the part of the cushion that covers the back of her wheelchair was a little thinner than I expected. Since it is considerably taller than the back of her wheelchair, however, the very top section slumped down and created an extra layer of padding. (The cushion might not be too high for chairs with taller backs, but in that case it might also provide less padding.)2. The padding/stuffing in the part that covers the seat was a little lumpy, but it seemed to even out somewhat after she sat on it.3. After I tied the arm flaps over the the arms of the chair, which was the last step in "installing" it, I sat in the chair to test it. I grasped the arm rests to stand up and the cushion was slippery, sliding around the arm bar beneath. That seems like a safety hazard. I remedied the situation by undoing the ties on the arm flaps, pulling the flaps directly under the arm bars rather than over them, and re-tying the ties. The side of the chair is still cushioned, but the arm bar itself is not covered. That allows my mom to grasp the arms bars to help her stand -- with the brakes on and a caregiver by her side, of course. (This arm-flap adjustment might not be necessary for chairs with higher-set arm rests.)Other than the awkward initital fit, we like the cushion. I would recommend it to those who want a one-cushion solution and are willing to make some slight adjustments for individual wheelchairs.

Slippery, doesn't not secure well, non-refundable
Normally I don't like leaving negative reviews but considering that they're refusing to allow returns and refunds, I feel like this is much warranted. On paper it sounds like a great product if you need extra cushion for anyone wheelchair bound but the cushion is incredibly slippery and doesn't stay in place. It has string tries in various locations that you're supposed to use to secure the cushion but they are ineffective as the cushion still slides around with the slightest body weight, no matter how tightly you tie them. The padding around the arms especially do not stay in one place as they will droop below the wheelchair's armrest the second someone sits down in the chair, making the whole product pointless. If you are looking for soft but supportive wheelchair cushion for your loved one, I would highly suggest looking elsewhere.

It’s so slippery it’s not safe.
Good design and size but the fabric is terrible. Slippery as can be. Not safe for wheelchair patients.

Just what I Needed- Added a Bit of Comfort
I found this wheelchair insert easy to use (there are several ties that are used to secure it to the wheelchair.)The shape of the insert fits nicely (20wX16d), and I had no problems either adding it to my wheelchair or using it with my wheelchair. The Physical & Occupational Therapists that came to my home forHome care were both impressed by the quality of the insert. This insert is a good addition, it’s not “perfect” by any means, but it does add a layer of comfort to what can be a very uncomfortable situation. I would recommend trying this insert.

Ripped seams
Used for less than a month and seams ripped. Not durable for wheelchair-bound patients.

Good
It's comfortable when I first sit in it, but not long term. After a couple hours, my butt starts to hurt. Also, it takes up a lot more space on the sides than I expected. Even though I am skinny, I had a hard time getting into the seat with it there. I probably should have bought something with only the back and seat and a cushion that keeps its puffiness a bit better.
